Content driven channels on YouTube

It would not be wrong to say that most of the videos uploaded on YouTube are cringe and not worth watching, however these are the channels that have risen to great height. Well, I am not here to condemn these channels instead to appreciate those channels who have been consistent in uploading  content that is worthy of our time. So let's get started.

Salil Jamdar & Co.

 When we talk about good content, Salil Jamdar tops the list. The first video on the channel titled Salil Ka Banana – Sheila Ki Jawani Parody was uploaded on the 7^th of March, 2018. This  is a parody of one of the most famous item songs in Bollywood. He reasons that good films can be made without item songs. He also raises the issue to gender inequality in the industry. Since then he has made several parody on the issues such as the Nirav Modi scam, Nepotism in BollyWood , actors advertising products that can be harmful for the common folks.  The parody that caught the most attention of the audiences was Tera Ghata. In this parody he criticizes the Indian YouTubers who make cringy content and also the audiences who support such creators.  

Asli Mard Web Series Trilogy

This series is a masterpiece by Salil Jamdar. The trilogy is a fight against porn addiction. The videos in the series highlight the cons of watching porn and that it is actually a huge issue. The first video shows how an innocent teenager becomes a victim to porn addiction, the second video elaborates the problems one faces being a porn addict. The final video features Ashish Chanchlani and Raftaar. It offers suggestions which help the protagonist overcome his addiction.

 The team deserves huge respect for addressing such a sensitive issue and the problems arising due to it.  Salil also gave  #150 days no porn challenge to the youth which was very well received by many.

Salil Jamdar says that he will make you laugh hard and think harder. He sure is doing that with all those parodies which to make you laugh and also make you think about the issue he is presenting.

THE Viral Fever

 I am sure most people have heard of this YouTube channel. The series that are extremely popular on these channels are the TVF’s Kota Factory, TVF’s Bachelors season 1 and 2, TVF’s Cubicles. The Kota Factory is quite interestingly showcases the students’ plight who have arrived at Kota to crack IIT. We get a glimpse of all kind of teachers personalities present in an institution. The series very well presents the emotions of the students. The acting of the actors is effortless and convincing.

The Bachelors series highlight the difficulties faced by the bachelors. What really gets the viewers attention is that the episodes are parodies of famous Bollywood movies. The dialogues are witty and the acting of course is fabulous.

I am not really a big fan of the cubicles series(maybe because I cannot relate to it) nevertheless is better than most vid.eos posted on the internet. The series shows the life of an employ from the time he joins office, the decisions he has to make about his expenses and needs, the relationships with bosses and the colleagues , a love relation.

TVF also has a quite a lot of videos apart from the series. Most of these are relatable to our day to day life and presented in humorous ways.

KirtiChow

The videos here are presented through animation. Kirti basically talks about his experiences and also about the relavant issues prevailing in the society. What makes us go back to his channel is that he shares his personal stories which are absolutely reletable. When discussing a certain topic he throws light on both sides of the argument. This makes his videos wholesome and unbiased.  

By how much ever I know this guy must be in his early twenties. While now a days most younger YouTubers prefer to make content which is full of lameness and easy to make the teenagers on the app your audience, Kirti chose to make wholesome content. He is slowly but steadily growing.
